2002 Agriculture Census

The census of agriculture is a complete accounting of United States agricultural production and, according to the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture, the only source of uniform agricultural data for every county in the United States.

The Census of Agriculture is taken every five years covering the years ending in "2" and "7." The 1997 Census of Agriculture was conducted by the U.S. Department of Agriculture; prior to that it had been conducted by the Census Bureau
